Hello everyone. This week's post is a going to be a little different. I thought I would explain the name of my blog.
As you can tell from the pictures above, my room has two images. One is the messy room, which usually occurs when I have been making cards. I tend to get excited. Creating a card makes me so happy. I am like a little child who wants approval for what I create. I tend not to put things away.
The second picture reflects the room after I have forced myself to clean it up because I can no longer find a surface to stamp on and/or I cannot find the items I need to use. Even in this picture, it is not that neat, but at least a lot better then in the first.
If you are wondering about my piece of furniture I use to store my materials in, it is called a Scrap Box. I was lucky enough to receive it a few years ago from my husband and sons. It makes storing and organizing my things much easier. (I like to think I am organized, but believe me, I am not)
So now you know the why behind the blog title.
Have a great week. Find Joy in all you do.

Hey There Everyone! I hope you are having a great day. Welcome to my Blog. I hope you find inspiration you can use in your card making.
Today I am using the Heartfelt Blooms stamp set (Item#147202) from the Sale-A-Bration Catalog. I love the look of this set. It has a realistic look to the flowers and can be used in many different ways. I used Night of Navy cardstock for the card base (Item#100867), Soft Sky for the layering piece and the sentiment layer (Item#131203). It's a pretty simple card to recreate and I hope you enjoy doing that.
Let me tell you a little about Sale-A-Bration. It is an exciting time of year for Stampin Up customers. You are able to earn free stamps (and this is one of them) with a $50 purchase from either the Annual Catalog or the Occasions Catalog. For every $50 purchase, you may choose a stamp set from the Sale-A-Bration Catalog. If you purchase $100, you may choose two or one of the $100 purchase sets. The Sale-A-Bration goes on until March 31, 2018, so be certain to take advantage of it. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions about the event or the card above.
