Happiness Surrounds

Hello Stampers!  Today I am introducing a new suite of products from Stampin Up.  It is Snowflake Showcase.  It will be available starting tomorrow through November 30.  After that, it will nt longer be available to purchase.

The suite consists of two stamps sets, Happiness Surrounds and Snow is Glistening.  Happiness Surrounds is a multi-occasions set, while the Snow is Glistening is a winter set.

There are Snowfall Thinlits and Trinkets available as well as White Velvet Paper.

I chose to use the Happiness Surrounds stamp set for this card and one of the floral images from it. I really like the way I stamped the image, turned it, and stamped again.  It is a really bright and happy card.

The products are listed below and will link to my online store.  Again, starting tomorrow you can purchase this suite.

See you next week.  Beverly

Wishing You Well

Hello Stampers!  It's another Wednesday.  Did you win the Powerball.  I guess there was only one winner.  Not me.

A few things before I get to the card.  First, I am now able to provide you the products I use in a more organized fashion as well as a link to my online store.  Yes, now I have an online store to make purchasing items easier.

Just select the item you would like to order, and off you go to the store.

Today I am using the Wishing You Well set.  I have been in love with this for a while.  It is an A2 card.  The Under the Mistletoe Designer Series paper is cut 4x5 1/4.  The Night of Navy layer is cut at 31/3x4 1/2 with the Whisper White layer cut 1/4 inch smaller.

I stamped the wheat, I think it is wheat, in Pear Pizzaz, added the flowers and bow in Night of Navy. The Just a Note is stamped in Night of Navy as well.

Then I mixed the shimmer paper with a little alcohol and spritzed the entire card.  This was so much fun to do.  I was a little afraid at first to try it, but do not be afraid.  Easy Peasy.

I hope you will give it a try.  It is a beautiful set.

Have a great day.  Beverly

25 Again

Hello Stampers  A day late with the post . I apologize.  Feeling a little under the weather.  Hoping you are all enjoying these fall days we are having here.  The leaves are coming off the trees like crazy.  Looks like it is snowing leaves.  Drives my cat crazy.

The stamp set I m showcasing today is 25 Again.  This is the cutest set.  You might not have noticed it in the catalog.

I used the Brights Collection to create the card.  I embossed a layer with the new Corrugated Dynamic Textured Impressions Folder.  I do love that look.  The card base is Bermuda Bay.  The layer with the folder is also Bermuda Bay.  I used the Brights Collection of Designer Series Paper to cut the layers on the front of the card.  The larger layer is 4x3 and the smaller layer is 2x3.  The balloons are cut with the Balloon Bouquet Punch.

There are no dies that coordinate with this set, but its very easy to fussy cut.  To make the shaded look on the top of the little box  I used a swiping motion with Light Daffodil and Dark Daffodil Blends, then I colored in the candles.

Abstract Impressions Again

Hello Stampers  It is early on Wednesday.  I have grandgirls today so am posting early.

I know I use Abstract Impressions a lot,  but it is my favorite set right now.  Today is a little different lay out.  One you can use in multiple ways with many different Designer Series Papers and Stamp Sets.  It is using the most loved paper right now Frosted Florals.

This is an A2 card.  The DSP is cut at 5 1/2x1 1/2 with a little piece cut at 1/2x5 1/2.  I flipped the smaller paper when I place it on top of the larger paper.  Tied a bow around the card.  I stamped off with the rose, then full strength with the Thank you on the circles.  I used Berry Burst Card stock with the Starburst Punch to give some color behind the sentiment.

Springtime Impressions

Hello Stampers.  Doing a late day post today.  It was a granddaughter day.

I made this card using the Springtime Impressions Embossing Folder, which comes in a bundle with the Artistic Impressions stamp set.  We all know how much I love that set.   I used   Shimmery White cardstock to cut the image out.  I also cut a little piece off for use in the corner.  I do not think you can see the shimmer to it in the photo.  I must admit it is difficult to see even in person.  The Pink Rhinestones give the card a little pop of color with all of the black and white.

Supplies:
Springtime Impression Embossing Folder 146326
Pink Rhinestones 146914
Shimmery White Cardstock 101910
Black Cardstock 121045
White Cardstock 100730

The base of the card is an A2 card.  This time the 8 1/2x11 piece of black cardstock was cut in half at the 4 1/4 side.
The white layer is cut at 4x5 1/4.
Next black layer is 4 3/4x5.

I did use the Multipurpose Adhesive Sheet on the back of the Springtime Impression folder to make it easier to adhere it to the card stock.

I find this to be a more elegant card.  Please try it.
