Pop of Petals

Merry Christmas!!!  I hope you have a joyful holiday!

I am back today with a card I have CASE'd from a class I am taking.  It is using the Pop of Petals stamp set and punch.  This is a bundle in the Annual Catalog.

It is white on white, which seems to be something I am drawn to again.  I have embossed the white layer with the Petal Burst Embossing folding.  This is the first time in a loooong time I have used Washi tape.  I quite like the look of it.  Change from the ribbon.  The flowers are cut from Melon Mambo, Coastal Cabana and Manago Melody Cardstock, after being stamped, of course.  I have used the Glitter Enamel Dots as the centers.

Now the sentiment is from a Hostess Set that is coming out on January 3, 2019, in the Occasions Catalog.  Be on the lookout for that and more posts from that catalog.

I have to thank my upline, the million dollar seller, Dena Rekow for the design of this card.

I will post of all the supplies below.

Please join me on my Facebook page on Saturday at 10am for my Live broadcast.  I will showcase more of this set in that presentation.

Have a great rest of the year.  Happy New Year!!!

Varied Vases

Happy Wednesday!!!  I hope your holiday preparations are going well.  I cannot believe it will be over in a week and we will be almost to New Years  Where did that time go!

Did you hear? Dena Rekow is a new Million Dollar Sales Person for Stampin UP.  She is my upline, so I thought I would throw that out there.  It is amazing and a lot of hard work.  Stampin UP is thirty years old and has had 31 people achieve that highlight.  Good Job Dena!

On to the card.  I am into Lemon Lime Twist this week.  Using Varied Vases, these colors and images came together so easily.  I do love the stamp set and the punch that accompanies it. I love a good punch.  The pink layer behind the image layer is Blushing Bride.  The tulips are stamped in that as well.  The vase is stamped in Coastal Cabana and popped up.  I used the embossing folder Striped Scallops for the Lemon Lime Twist layer.  The ribbon is Polka Dot Tulle.  I did not actually tie a bow, I just faked it.

I will be Live on Facebook on Saturday.  Please join me.

Merry Christmas!

CASE-ing Tuesday 178

Good Morning!  I hope your day is going well.  Mine was, then I got on the computer.  If this blog post shows up twice, I apologize.

This is the card this week.  I like it.  Nice and simple.
Here is my interpretation.  I went all monochromatic  again. Lemon Lime Twist is my friend!  I used the Subtle Embossing Folder for my layering piece.  Wishing You Well is where I got the little flowers stamped in the background.  The Thank You is from Daisy Delight.  I love this font.  And last, but not least Ombre Ribbon.  Love the look of it.

Hope you enjoy the card.  Happy Holidays everyone!

Tags and Scraps

Hello Stampers!  Are you getting ready for the big day.  I have extra time this week and I thought I would get ahead.  However, that is not happening.  Life is an adventure.

Today I am focusing on Gift Tags.  I love making gift tags.  So easy.  Such instant gratification.  And little or now product.

These gift tags are made using the Stampin Up Scalloped Tag Topper.  I originally thought this had been retired, but it is here.  Makes everything so simple.  The Item # is 133324.  This is the most important piece of the entire project.

Choose any leftover Designer Series Paper and Embellishments.  You know you have them and aren't certain what to do with them.

Simple, easy and quick.  Better then a bow!  I hope you enjoy these ideas.  Let me know if you need any assistance.

My online store is in the right corner of the blog.  Join me again on Saturday at 9am for Facebook Live.

CASE-ING TUESDAY 12/11/2018

Hello Stampers!  Late today for the Case-ing Tuesday.  I love this set, Wishing You Well!
As you will be able to tell from my sample, I did nothing to change it.  I don't know if I was just being lazy or I just loved the sketch so much.  I'm going with I loved the sketch so much.

I hope you like it.

See you tomorrow!

Sitting Here

Good Morning Stampers!!!!  I'm back with a new card.  I really love how this card turned out.  The stamp set was actually given to me by a friend who had purchased two of them.  Guess she loved them enough to want two.  Kidding.  I am really grateful.

I must say I was a little intimidated by the set.  Looked like there was coloring, cutting and putting scenes together.  I wasn't certain this was going to work for me.  I am more of a simple, quick card girl.  I researched on Pinterest for examples and they intimidated me even more until I decided to combine several styles and this is what I came up with.

The cardstock on the card and top layer are Soft Suede. Not a color I use a lot, but I think I will now .  I found it to be very rich looking.  The colored layer is Night of Navy.  I embossed the swing in white.  When you emboss and then color, it does a couple of things.  First the image stands out and secondly, it is much more easy to color.  I used Night of Navy to color the seat cushion as well.  I colored the cat with my blends and fussy cut him out and popped him up on the swing.  He is so cute sitting there.  The pot of flowers was also colored with blends.  They are a little dark, but the whole card has a older look to it.  I LOVE the sentiment.  I am a swing kind of girl.

Hope you will attempt the card or something like it.  If you don't own the set, I do suggest it as a wonderful addition to your stamps.  Please click on the Shop button on the right side to order from me.

Don't forget.  I am live on Facebook on Saturday Mornings at 10 am.  I make a couple of projects and have a few laughs.  Please join me.

See you next week.

CASE-ing Tuesday

Happy Tuesday Stampers.  I am back for another try at CASE-ing Tuesday.  Today I believe I have CASE'd the correct card

I like this layout.  It is a simple card with a few items added to step it up a little

Here is my take on it:
I used the stamp set Rooted in Nature.  I admit it is the first time using it. (I haven't had it very long) The cardstock is Soft Suede.  The Designer Paper is the Rooted in Nature paper.  There is a small piece of vellum behind the tree.  I always think of this as the Tree of Life.  Love the way it looks.

I hope you enjoy my interpretation.  See you tomorrow.
