Butterfly Gala

Happy Wednesday. Back with another simple, but elegant card from the Occasions Catalog. This one uses the Butterfly Gala Stamp set. The sentiments, just like last week, in this one are wonderful. Not actually much going on, but put together I think it looks great. Quite a few different elements, embossing folder, stitched circle punch, Designer Series Paper, Butterflies and ribbon.

I am Beverly McGuire. I love crafts, especially paper crafts. It only takes a few minutes to create a card that will bring a smile to someone when they receive it. My family, especially my granddaughters, keep me busy so it is nice to know I can create a card in just a few minutes. I enjoy being a demonstrator for Stampin Up. It is a company that makes it easy for everyone to be creative.

CASE-ing Tuesday 184

Good Morning. I have another Case-ing the Catalog for you today. I have to say this one gave me a little bit of trouble. Either that or my idea part of my brain was broken.

I do think it is a beautiful card now that it is finished. I hope you do as well.

The stamp set is Forever Lovely from the Occasions Catalog. The designer series paper is All My Love. There is some lovely paper in there.

I used Versa Mark to make the background. It added dimension to the card. It is difficult to see the little piece of vellum behind it all, but it's there. Trust me. Sequins and Ribbon finish it off. Oh and the little butterfly is cut from the DSP in the Sale a Bration Catalog.

Incredible Like You

Hello Stampers!! Happy Wednesday.

Today I am using the stamp set Incredible Like You from the Occasions Catalog. This set has so many great sentiments and I like the unique images.

I made a tag using the Scalloped Tag Topper (when was the last time you looked at this tag topper or used it). It makes a great tag. The circles are in the stamp set and I stamped them randomly. The lines on the Berry Burst card front are from the set as well. The Ruffled Ribbon is actually from the Annual Catalog. I love it when I create a card using sets from multiple places.

CASE-ing Tuesday 183

Hello Stampers. I'm back. Today's card is from page 14 of the Occasions Catalog for CASE-ing Tuesday. The original card in the catalog uses the cute set Sweetest Thing.

I have used the Gingham Designer Series Paper from the Occasions Catalog and the 6x6 Paper in Subtle from the Annual Catalog. I decided the card needed something besides the Balmy Blue color so I choose to add the sentiment in Poppy Parade. I embossed it in white embossing powder. It does make it jump right off of the page I think.

Happy Wednesday Night!!! I hope you are having a great week. If you live in the Northeast, I hope you are preparing for the "maybe" upcoming snow storm.

This week I am showcasing my favorite set, Bloom by Bloom. Love Love Love this set.

The Designer Series Paper is part of the Suite, call Happiness Blooms. Now the layout is a little different. The DSP is cut at 1 1/2x4 1/2 and the Whisper White panel is cut at 3x5 1/2. It gives just a little over lay on the white.

I used the coordinating colors to stamp the flowers. The sentiments are from the Incredible Like You set.

I hope you will try this layout and enjoy this product suite. During these dreary months, these colors are certainly happy.

Humming Along - #simplestamping

Happy Wednesday Stampers!!! Hope you week is going great. Halfway there.

I am trying some simple stamping this week. Stampin Up is promoting examples of stamping for the person who has very little supplies. Wants to create, but doesn't want to own a lot of items.

I think this Humming Along Set is the perfect example. It is a classic card with very little used. The only item I used besides the stamp set was Wink of Stella to give the flower a little shine.

Happy Tuesday. How is your New Year going. Are you accomplishing your resolutions. I am because I don't dare make them!!! Kidding

Todays card went together very easily for me. I love this layout. The gingham paper may be my favorite paper ever!! I also think you will be seeing more of the Boom by Bloom Stamp set as well. The Oh Hello Friend is from Oh So Eclectric. Funny how you find words that fit what you want from other sets.
