CASE-ing Tuesday 188

CASE-ing Tuesday is using the Incredible Like You two weeks in a row, which is fine by me.
As I said last week, this is now my new favorite set.  Who knew it was so, well, Incredible.

I will see you again next week.  Am sorry this was late to post.  I was out of town and had computer issues.

Rooted in Nature

Hello Stampers.  I am using that Rooted in Nature again.  This time not just the words.  Miracle, I know.  Actually, I am starting to like more things about this set, then just the words.

I used the Pinewood Planks embossing folder on the base of the card to give it some texture.  Everything else just set right up on it.  On the Circle Die, I did stamp some leaves in Mint Macaron to give it some texture.

Look into this set.  There are lots of cards made with it and I think you will enjoy it.  Let  me know if I can be helpful.

Hello Stampers.  It's that time again for a Wednesday Blog Post.   

This week I am featuring the How Sweet It is Designer Series Paper.  This paper has so many fun images.  Such great bright colors, especially for this dreary time of the year.  

I used my favorite die, Happy Birthday and embossed the Coastal Cabana Card with Oh My Stars Embossing Folder.  

Such a simple card, but so much fun.

Share What You Love

Hello Everyone.  I decided to make a card using Designer Series Paper and a Stamp Set from the Annual Catalog today.  This is the Share What You Love Paper and Love What You Do Stamp set.  If you look closely, (I hope you can see it), the flower has been colored with Wink of Stella.  That's right.  If you use your Wink of Stella while the ink is still wet, you can color the image and get the shimmery goodness as well.  

As usual, this is an A2 card, with two layers, 5 1/4x4 and 5x 3 3/4.  The top layer of paper is cut 3x3 3/4 and the bottom is cut 2x 3 3/4.  The Burlap ribbon separates it.  I think the touch of Mint Macaron on the Blueberry Bliss is very subtle.

CASE-ing Tuesday 186

It is that time of the week.  Case-ing Tuesday.

Today's card comes from the Occasions Catalog, page 14 and uses notecards and the How Sweet It Is Designer Series Paper.

I fussy cut the cupcakes from the paper and adhered them onto a piece of Coastal Cabana I had embossed with the Oh My Stars Embossing Folder.

The Happy Birthday is from the Itty Bitty Birthday Stamp Sets in the Catalog as well.

Makes and really cute, bright card.  I do not believe you need to own the Sweetest Thing Stamp Set to love this paper.  It has so many cute applications.

Stitched All Around Sketch

Hello Stampers.  I was playing around with the sketch the other day and my favorite new Designer Series Paper, Happiness Blooms and decided to try this sketch.  

This is an A2 card in Call Me Clover with a layer of Calypso Coral.  The DSP is cut at 3 1/2 by 1 1/2.  Three pieces. and placed them on the card.  To make this easier, I placed the strips at each edge, then centered the middle piece.  Made it so much easier.  

I used the Stitched All Around sentiment and the die from the bundle for the focal point.  The ribbon is from the Tea Room Combo in Coastal Cabana.

Case-ing Tuesday 185

It's Case-ing Tuesday Stampers.  This layout is from page 16 of the Occasions Catalog.  It is suppose to be a square card.  For some reason, I can't do square cards.  My eye doesn't like them.  lol

I used the Rooted in Nature Stamp Set.  I admit to not giving this set the love it deserves.  However, I also admit I bought it for the words.  A little pricey for the words, but I felt it was worth it.
