CASEing Tuesday 197

Hello Stampers!! We are hitting the end of the month.  Wow!  Where did it go!!  I am so happy the weather is nicer.  Can take those granddaughters outside more.

This week's CASE is #197 and is from page 144 of the Annual Catalog.  This set is carried over into the new Annual Catalog due out June 1.  However, the bundle (stamp set and dies) will not be, so if you are interested in saving 10 percent, now is the time.  Also, the stamp set appears on the Retirement List.  That is because it will no longer be available in Clear Mount.  It will now be Cling Mount.  A little confusing I know.  It is really inventory number changes.

I used Nature's Poem Designer Series Paper and the Itty Bitty Birthday Stamp.  I have to say I use that set to death!!!  And for a first for me, I used the Banner Triple Punch and the Scalloped Tag Topper together.  They made a cute little tag.

I hope you enjoy the card.  See you next Tuesday!

Cake Soiree

It's a Cake Soiree Week at Mymessyroomstamper.  As I mentioned yesterday, it is retiring.  Since I had not used it, I thought I would get some ink on it.

Once again, I did not use the CAKE.  How is that possible when I love CAKE!  I do love the versatility of this set and wish I had used it more.  If you don't own, get it.  Seriously.  A great set.  And if you own, don't leave it unloved like I did.

It is an A2 card with a layer of Melon Mambo at 4x5 1/4 and a layer of Whisper White (the layer I stamped on) is 3 3/4x5. I did line the inside with Whisper White.

I do want to remind you to take advantage of the Retirement List.  Remember these items are While Supplies Last.  Don't miss out.

Caseing Tuesday 196

Good Morning!!! Happy Tuesday.  Today's CASE is from page 79 in the Annual Catalog.  It uses the Cake Soiree Stamp set, which sadly is being retired.  And I admit, this is the first time I have used and.  To make matters worse, I forgot I had the dies.  So many stamps, so little time.

I decided not to use the cake, but to try the present.  I used a blender pen to color in the image as I did not have the colors I wanted in other markers.

I hope you enjoy it.

See you next week.  Beverly

Rooted in Nature

Hello Stampers.  I'm just back from a terrific day spent with fellow Stampin Up demonstrators in Minneapolis.  It was a great time.  We learned so much.  I got to spend some day with one of my friends who lives in California.  We see each other every year or so.  So much fun.

Today's card is using the Rooted in Nature set.  I originally stated I bought this set for the words and I still love those, but I have made quite a few cards with it now and find it a lot of fun.

I used Calypso Coral cardstock, a layer of Blackberry Bliss then some of the Nature's Poem Designer Series Paper.

I believe this card would make a good masculine card, if you needed one.  You could always substitute the sentiment with a birthday as well.

If you have any questions about the measurements, please contact me and I would be glad to provide them.

See you next Wednesday.

Case-Tuesday 195

Happy Tuesday.  I'm back with another Case-ing Tuesday.  I am in love with Poppy Parade.  I really didn't know I loved this color so much until this particular card.

It is an A2 card with a layer cut 1/4 inch smaller.  I stamped with the Butterfly Gala stamp set in Poppy Parade to give a background.  I stamped the butterflies in Pineapple Punch and punched them out.  I used Wink of Stella to move the color around and to give it some glitz.

Let me know what you think.

I do want to add a note about some changes with Stampin Up.  They are discontinuing the Big Shot and the Stamping Trimmer.  The reasons behind this have to do with changing manufacturers for the Big Shot and a poor quality of cutting blades on the trimmer.  They are working to provide with a new product for each of these.  There will still be dies in the catalog, just not the Big Shot.  Not a huge change, but I like to keep you informed.

See you next Tuesday.

Many Layers

Happy Wednesday.  Hope your week is going great.  Half way through the work week.  I have been dog sitting my son's dog for the last few days.  They are away at Disney World.  She is a very sweet dog.  Unusual breed, Native American Indian Dog.  Looks like a husky.  Today is my first day back home.  Kind of nice just to be away, but felt like it was living at two houses.  Back and forth.

Today's card has many layers.  I used the Country Floral Embossing Folder, which will carry over to the Annual Catalog.  If you did not get it during Sale a Bration, you can get it, but you will have to purchase it this time.  It is a beautiful folder.  I used the blends to color it.

The Designer Series paper is the In Color   collection from the Annual Catalog.  This pack of paper gets overlooked sometimes, I think.  Coastal Cabana cardstock makes it all pop together.

Birthday is a die and the little HAPPY is from the Itty Bitty Birthday, a favorite of mine.

Thanks for stopping by.   I hope you will CASE the card and please let me know if you need help to order any of these products.

Please remember products in the Occasions Catalog are still available even though Sale a Bration is over.

Case-ing Tuesday 194

Happy Tuesday.  I love this card and this set.  We all know I love Abstract Impression.  One of the best sets EVER!!!!, in  my opinion.

This week's CASE is from page 133 of the Annual Catalog.  The set in the catalog is quite lovely and very good for spring.

I choose to use Abstract Impressions mainly because I don't own the other set.  I meant to use Pineapple Punch ink, but somehow picked up Mango Melody instead.  Adds a different touch I think.
I'm off to Minneapolis to a Stampin Up one day event on Saturday.  See you next week.
