Hump Day Card

Hello Stampers.  Happy Hump Day.

Today I am showcasing the Mosaic Mood Designer Series Paper.  It makes a quick card.  I have added the Stitched Circle in Terracotta Tile.  The Whisper White Label is done using the Timeless Label Punch.  Sentiment is from the Well Said Stamp Set.  To jazz it up a little, lol, I used the Terracotta Tile Scalloped Linen Ribbon as well as the InColor Faceted Dots.

All in all it is a perfectly simple and easy card to make.  I hope you try it.

See you next week.

Case-ing Tuesday 214 on Wednesday

Hello Stampers!!!  It Wednesday and I am just doing Case-ing Tuesday.  I went into Boston yesterday to the Downton Abbey Exhibit and got back later then expected.  I must say it was well work the car ride, train ride, T ride and walk to see it.  A lovely exhibit.  Like seeing old friends.

Today I used the Animal Outing to case this layout.  I also made use of makeup brushes, that are so very popular right now, to add some shading to the Whisper White layer.  I colored the animals in with Stampin Blends.  The Lovely Lipstick layer uses the Corrugated Embossing Folder.

Dimensions for this card are listed on the Case-ing Tuesday Facebook page, but if you like them, please contact me.

I would appreciate your business.  You can use the button on the right of the blog to go to my online store.

Pretty Peacock and Four Punches

Hello Stampers!!!  Hope your week is going well.  Almost time for school to start, although I have seen where it has started this week in some places.

Today I used the Floral Essence Stamp Set, Perennial Essence Designer Series Paper and many other elements.

This is a beautiful card in my opinion with a variety to areas to look at and see the beauty.  The Pretty Peacock Paper seems to set the entire card up.  There are four Punches used.  That's right FOUR!!  One for the leaves, one for the flower, for the Star Burst Label and one for the Circle Label.  The Script Embossing Folder is used on the Berry Burst layer and there are faceted gems to accent the card.

I hope you like today's post.  All of these items are available in my store, just click on the button.

Have a great rest of the week.

Case-ing Tuesday 213

Hello Stampers  Another fun card layout for Case-ing Tuesday.

This one showcases the Stamparatus.  It is so easy to stamp repeated sentiments with the Stamparatus.

I used Flirty Flamingo for the card base, ink and top layer.  The corrugated embossing folder was embossed in Gorgeous Grape.  I stamped the medium daisy in Gorgeous Grape and cut it out with the Medium Daisy Punch.

Other supplies used here was the Organdy Striped Ribbon and, of course, Daisy Lane Stamp Set.

I hope you think about purchasing the Stamparatus.  It is beyond useful.

Cards for Seniors

Hello Stampers.  It's Wednesday and my oldest son's birthday.  It's a great day.

I want to tell you about a Facebook group.  It is Cards for Seniors.  You "adopt" a person and are required to send a card to them once a month.  Such a great project.  The woman who runs the group has a couple of other groups to help people who just need to be remembered.  I was very happy to join the group.  I even went so far as to "adopt" two people.

This is the card I made to send to one of them.  It uses Gorgeous Grape Cardstock and the Brights Designer Series Paper.  I used the flower with the punch from the Floral Essence Bundle and the sentiment is from the Butterfly Gala set.

I love the look of all the purple.  It is my granddaughter's favorite color.

I hope you decide to CASE the card.  Remember you can order the supplies in my Online Store right here on the blog.

Please remember to join me on Saturday for FaceBook Live at 10 am.

See you next week.  Beverly

Casing Tuesday 212

Hello Stampers.  Today's Case-ing Tuesday layout is very simple.  It could be a Stamp, Ink, Paper technique.

I used the Perennial Essence Designer Series Paper with the Pretty Peacock Cardstock.   The Well Said Stamp Set was used  for the sentiment and just like that, you have a card.

I hope you like.  Remember to join me tomorrow for another blog post.  And as always, my Online Store is right here on the blog.

Waterfront with New Sketch

Hello Stampers!!!  Back with a new sketch.  The idea of this sketch  is to cut a piece of cardstock at 5 1/4x4 and die cut a shape.  I choose an oval.  There are many things you can do with this sketch.  You can stamp the layer and put words in the die cut or, like I did, stamp an image in there.

I cut the cardstock "hotdog" at 4 1/4.  I liked the idea of more real estate so to speak in order to use the oval and get the images inside of it.

I think the Birch Stamp really helped with the overall look of the card.  I did stamp off with the Gray Granite  Ink because I did not want it too dark.

Let me know what you think and, as always, you can order all of these supplies in my Online Store.

Case-ing Tuesday 211

Hello Stampers!!  Case-ing Tuesday.  This challenge made me really think hard about what I had and how I could convert it to this sketch.

I kind of think the card is a little dark.  Maybe a more masculine card.  I do like the way it turned out though.  Lately all my cards have been bright and cheerful, so that is probably why it looks so dark to me.

Enjoy the day.  Beverly
