Hand Lettered Prose Dies

Morning Stampers.  It's Wednesday and time for another card.  Today I am showcasing the Hand Lettered Prose Dies.  These are in the Annual Catalog.

Simple, Simple card today, but the dies make it so much more sophisticated.  In my opinion.  The card base is Shaded Spruce.  The Designer Series Paper is Wrapped in Plaid cut at 3 3/4x5 with an oval cut out of it using the Layered Oval Dies.

The JOY is cut from the Gold Foil Sheet and glued to the card. The sentiment is from Perfect Plaid Stamp Set.

Simple Simple like I said.  Give it a try.  This would be easy to recreate for multiple Christmas Cards.
Please visit my YouTube page for instructions on how to put it together.  BeverlyMcGuire-Mymessyroomstamper.

Remember the new Stampin Up Trimmer is available for purchase on November 1.

Case-ing Tuesday 223

Happy Tuesday Stampers.  I'm back with another interpretation of Case-ing Tuesday.

This card uses Coastal Cabana, which I have wanted to do for a while.  I may have mentioned I am wanting to make Christmas Cards with nontraditional colors.  I purchased this Let It Snow Specialty Paper for just this reason

I used the Corrugated Embossing Folder to add dimension or what I call dimension.  The paper is cut out with the Stitched Nested Label Dies.  I tried to make it snowy by adding glue and glitter around it.

The Star Burst punch showcases my old friend, Birds of a Feather.  You are probably sick of seeing that.

I hope you enjoy my card today.  All of the supplies can be ordered in my Online Store, just click on it in the right hand corner.

In other news, on November 1, you will be able to order the new Stampin Up Trimmer. Please be prepared.  It is a really nice trimmer and I think you will enjoy owning it.

See you soon  Beverly

Hello Country Home and SALE!!!

Happy Hump Day!!!  Today is a great day to be a stamper at Stampin Up.  More Later!

I used the Country Home with a different layout today for this card.  The Mint Macaron cardstock is cut on the "hot dog" side at 4 1/2, then folded at 5 1/2.  Once that is done, cut 2/14 inches off the front so you have a flap that measure 2 1/4 inches.

Next I used the Verdant Garden Designer Series Paper and cut it at 2x4 and adhered it to the flap.  The inside of the card is lined with Whisper White cut at 4x5 1/4.  I cut a piece of silver foil paper to 1 1/2 x4 and ran it through the embossing machine using the Tin Tile Embossing Folder.  Place it at the edge of the Whisper White on the inside.

The image from Country Home is stamped on one of the Stitched Rectangles and adhered to a piece of Mint Macaron.  That is adhered, on one side to the flap.  Lastly, I added the Real Red Cotton Ribbon for some added color.

Seems complicated, but really is not.  A fun card to send to someone.

Now the sale.  Stampin Up is offering specific stamp sets at 15% off for TODAY ONLY! and While Supplies Last.

Don't miss out.  Please use my online store to order and if you have any questions, please let me know.

Thank you for stopping by the blog.  There is a video for this card on my You Tube channel, Beverly McGuire-My Messy Room Stamper.

Tuesday Cup of Christmas

Hello Stampers.  Hope you are having a wonderful week.  I am back with another Case-ing Tuesday, of course.

Today's case is from page 35 of the Holiday Catalog.  I love this set.  Have wanted to use it for a Blog Post for a while.  This gives me the opportunity.

I know I have been posting a lot of Christmas cards lately, but I figure we must get started or we will leave it too late.

Todays card uses the Real Red cardstock and ink, as well as Shaded Spruce Ink.  I used the Basic Pattern Decorative Masks to create the pattern paper in the center of the card.  I used the makeup brushes I purchased from Amazon (cheap, cheap) to spread the ink over the mask.  It is much easier if you use tape to adhere your mask to something so it does not move around.  The sentiment is from Itty Bitty Christmas.

Please be certain to jump over to FaceBook to the Case-ing Tuesday group and see the other creations people have submitted.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.

Snowman Season with YouTube Video

Hello Stampers!  Hope your day is going well.  Busy day today with exercise, hair and a group of woman coming over to have some fun making cards.  How does a day get better then that.

Today I am doing something a little different.  I have made a YouTube Video that shows how to put the card together.  I would appreciate it if you would view the video and especially if you would LIKE the video and SUBSCRIBE to my channel.  It is Beverly McGuire My Messy Room Stamper.

The embellishments for the snowman are from the Let It Snow Embellishment Kit.  It has everything you need to bring the snowman to life.

This is an A2 card with a layer cut 4x5 1/4.  It is embossed with the Subtle Embossing Folder.  Love that folder.  The tag is cut with the Scalloped Tag Topper and measures 2x3 1/2.  The ribbon is the Shaded Spruce Gold Striped Ribbon.  I stamped the1 3/4 circle in Shaded Spruce and used Real Red Ink to smudge the circle.  Red Rhinestones complete the tag.

The only thing different I did in the picture from the video is add a little Balmy Blue Stampin Blend color to the snowman.  I felt he looked a little bland.

Coastal Cabana Case-ing Tuesday

Good Morning Stampers!  Hope all is well.  Trying to be efficient this week.  Have to say, it's not really working.

I purchased Let It Snow Designer Series Paper with the intent of making nontraditional colored cards.  This is my first one.

The dimensions for the layers on the card are: 3/4x5 for the layer, 2 7/16x2 7/16 stitched circle, 3/4x3 5/8 strip and 3/4x2 5/8 (white banner where sentiment is).

Case-ing the catalog is such an easy and quick way to create cards.  The layout is right there and the idea of what supplies to use on the card are there as well.

I hope you enjoy the card.  Please click on my Online Store to order the products, which will be listed below.  And don't forget to visit the Facebook Group Case-ing Tuesday.

See you soon. Beverly

Pink for Breast Cancer

Hello Stampers.  Happy Wednesday.  I have been having a lazy day.  It has been overcast and chilly.  I have kind of been hibernating.  Then I remembered I promised the dimensions and products I used on this card when I put it on YouTube on Monday.

I decided to use Pink because of October for Breast Cancer.  And, well, everyone loves pink.
This is an A2 card.  The Highland Heather layer is 4x5 1/4.  The Designer Series Paper is the Subtle Collection.  I love the gingham side.  It is cut at 3 1/2x5 and adhered off center.  The smaller Highland Heather strip is 3 1/8x1 1/4.  The circle is the large circle from the Stitched Shapes dies.  I used the Darling Label Punch and the stamp set that came with it originally.

This is a quick and easy card with many possibilities.  I hope you enjoyed the video and the card.

Please remember I will be Live on Facebook on Saturday morning at 10am.  Hope to see you there.

Contrified Case-ing Tuesday 220

Hello Stampers!  I took a little artists license on the Case.  I used an oval label instead of round.  The card from the catalog is very elegant.  Mine, I must say is not.

The stamp set is Ride With Me.  I haven't given it as much love as it deserves.  I colored the truck in multiple Stampin Blends.  I'm into Navy today so the truck itself is Night of Navy.  The Come to Gather Designer Series Paper is cut at 3 1/2x4 1/4.  I did frayed the Braided Linen Trim to enlarge the bow itself.  Not certain you can see it in the photo.

I hope you enjoy the card.  If you would like this stamp set or any of these products, please shop my online store.

See you soon.  Beverly

It's Fall Y'all!!!

Happy Wednesday Everyone.  I'm with my granddaughters today.  Their Mom is donating a kidney to her dad.  Please pray for them. I hope everything goes well.  I will be here on and off the next few days.  I hope all three of us survive.

Today's card used the Come to Gather Designer Series Paper on Merry Merlot.  Nice fall colors.  I used the Country Home Stamp Set and colored it in with various Blends.  I stamped it on Crumb Cake Cardstock.  I felt it gave it more of a country look.

Remember, just because the Holiday Catalog is out, there are still wonderful items in the Annual Catalog.  Remember Creativity is Calling.

Have fun stamping.  Beverly
