Animal Outing

Hello Stampers!  The new catalog is LIVE!  Did you place your orders?  I did.  I tried to make it a small one, but you know what happens when you do that.  

Today's card is from a new set Animal Outing (#146600).  Cute set for lots of different cards.  I have seen some really cute cards done for babies with it.  I made mine for a young girl who had a stroke and is currently in the hospital in Florida.  I thought it might cheer her up.  

The paper is one of the new InColors, Blueberry Bushel (#146968) and being an anything blue girl, I love it.  I used Stampin Blends to color.  Smoky Slate dark and light (145055, 145054) and Smoky Slate to stamp the sentiment.  

Its a bit simple, but I kind of like how it turned out.  I hope you will try this set. I find it very versatile.

New Card Layout with Beautiful Designer Paper

HELLO STAMPERS!!!  Happy Rainy Wednesday.  Its only ten days until the new catalog goes LIVE!!!  Exciting Stuff.  If you have ordered from me this year, a catalog is on the way.  If you would like a catalog, please let me know.  (Unfortunately, I will have to charge shipping because it is so expensive.)

Today's card is from a layout I found on Pinterest.  The place I go to kill time.  I really like the look of it.  And I must tell you it was so quick and easy.  That is my style.

The Designer Paper is Sweet Soiree (Item# 145564), which is retiring in ten days.  Pick it up while you can.  I assure you, you won,t be sorry.  The card stock behind the DSP is Rich Razzleberry (115316). The words are from Perennial Birthday (Item#145760).

It is an A2 card size.  the DSP is cut to 1 3/4 by 2 1/4.  Rich Razzleberry is cut to 1 7/8 by 2 3/8.  You can stamp the words on with or without the circle punch.  I just liked it with the circle and scallop.  I felt it gave it a little more color.  On the inside, I adhered another rectangle just to jazz it up some.

I hope you enjoy the card.  Please make it.  It goes well with any Designer Paper.

Desiger Series Paper and More...

Hello Stampers.  Lovely Spring days going on here in New Hampshire.  Making up for the ugly April we had.  

Today I have a simple project to use your Designer Series Paper for a gift bag.  We all hoard our paper and we really should be using it.  I wonder if anyone could ever be on that show Hoarders and show all the stamps and paper we have accumulated and never used.  That would be one worth watching.  

So I purchased a white bag from Walmart, measured it, cut the paper and glued it on both sides.  This is for a small thank you gift for someone.  I think it is a great use of the paper and makes an inexpensive gift bag.  The paper I used is Whole Lot of Lovely from the catalog.  It is retiring, so if you love it, make sure you check to see if it is still available and pick some up.  

Speaking of which, there are things on the Clearance List that are now up to 50% off.  Please don't miss out on these deals.  

I wrote, and made a card from the Share What You Love Bundle.  This is a terrific opportunity to get some of the new InColors and stamp sets coming out in the catalog in June.  I purchased the Just Getting Started Bundle and while I love the set, I am a little upset I didn't go with the Gotta Have It All.  There is a beautiful embossing folder with that bundle, Lovely Floral Dynamic Textured

Impressions as well as some beautiful paper.  I am certain you have seen it around other blogs and FB posts.  Just beautiful.  Not to forget the Love What You Do Stamp Set, which I showed the card with a few weeks ago, and Make A Difference Stamp Set.  This set has letters with different fonts that will make great words.

Make certain you check all of this out before it goes away.  The Share What You Love Bundles will not be available in the new catalog.  The individual items will be, but not as a bundle.
