Case-ing Tuesday 227 One More Christmas Card

Happy Thanksgiving!!!!

Running late today.  I have been doing some work for the law firm my son works for and it has put me behind.  And I did get to go visit the granddaughters tonight so that makes me happy.

I love how this card turned out.  It took me all this time to use the other side of the Feels Like Frost Designer Series Paper.

I just purchased the So Many Stars Stamp Set and the Stitched Stars dies.  They are amazing and I am not kidding.  I wish I had not waited so long to invest in them.

I hope everyone has a blessed Thanksgiving.  I know I am blessed you stop by and read my blog.

Talk soon.  Beverly

Oh Christmas Tree, Oh Christmas Tree

Hello Everyone!  Happy Hump Day.

It is another Christmas Card.  I am trying to get you more ideas for cards so you can get all your cards made before the Holiday Season takes off.

Today's card is made with Let It Snow Designer Series Paper.  I love the paper.  Mainly because of the snowmen, but also because of the nontraditional colors used.  I used the Pine Tree Punch to punch the trees and Clear Wink of Stella to add the shimmer.

On my YouTube change, Beverly McGuire-My Messy Room Stamper, you can watch me put the card together.

I used Real Red for the A2 card base.  The Whisper White layer is 4x5 1/4.  I used Coastal Cabana for the layer on the Whisper White.  It is cut at 3 3/4x3 1/4 and the DSP is cut at 3 1/2x3.

I hope you will try the card.  It has a bit of Red Christmas and some color to make everyone notice.

Case-ing Tuesday 226

Hello Stampers!!!  Happy Tuesday.  I was away in Hartford at a Stampin Up event.  We received the Mini Catalog that will be available January 1 as well as the Sale A Bration Catalog.  Lots of fun to be with fellow stampers and see the GORGEOUS merchandise that will be available.  More on that to come.

Today's Case-ing Tuesday card uses Rooted in Nature.  The card and layer are Soft Suede.  I did add a little color with the Pretty Peacock Scalloped Linen Ribbon.

It is pretty much a masculine card.  Perhaps made as a Thank You for someone who have done something special for you.

I hope you will visit the Case-ing Tuesday group on FaceBook to see the other great examples of this layout.

See you tomorrow.  Beverly

Perfectly Plaid

Happy Wednesday Stampers!!!  Hope your week is going well.  It is really cold here. Winter cold and I don't like it one bit.

Today's card is made with the Perfectly Plaid Suite.  There is beautiful paper, a stamp set and a punch.  All of it I used in the card.  Makes it convenient.

I am calling this card sketch a Floating Layer.  I am not certain that is the correct name, but that is what I am going with.  The sketch has been around a while.  I felt it lent itself perfectly to this suite.

On my YouTube Channel, Beverly McGuire My Messy Room Stamper, I have demonstrated how to cut and put the card together.  Please visit my channel for that.

The card is an A2 card cut on the 8 1/2 inch side at 4 1/4.  It is scored at 5 1/2.  After scoring, cut 3 1/2 inches off of one side. That will leave a 2 inch piece at the top.  You will then cut the 3 1/2 inch off to 2 inches.  This will be the layer on the bottom.  The Floating Layer is cut at 2 1/4x4 1/4.  Each of the layers are cut 1/4 inch less.  I did use a layer on the inside because I used Cherry Cobbler and I also used that layer to stamp the Christmas Tree in Shaded Spruce.

Please try this card sketch. There are a lot of stamps in the Holiday Catalog that lend themselves to it.  The video on YouTube explains it well.

The products are available in my Online Store and I would appreciate your business.

I am going to OnStage on Friday, so I will have news for the New Year from there.  Also, the Holiday Extravaganza is coming up next week so be on the look out for announcements.

Case-ing Tuesday #225

Hello Stampers!  I am back today on the correct day with another sketch for Case-ing Tuesday.  This sketch is from the Holiday Catalog.  I just couldn't make another Christmas Card this week, so I went another way.  As I was making it, it was such fun and made me smile the entire time.  That is what a good sketch and great Designer Series Paper will do for you.

I hope you visit the group over on FaceBook, Case-ing Tuesday, to see other great examples of this card.

Case-ing Tuesday on Thursday

Happy Thursday!  I am two days late with this card.  Mainly because TECHNOLOGY IS HARD!!!  Kidding.  Its not hard if you pay attention.  Evidently on Wednesday I didn't pay.

So here is my Case for Tuesday.  I used the Snowman Season Bundle.  Actually I used a lot of the Embellishment Kit.  Love the way it turned out.

Please visit the FaceBook page Case-ing Tuesday and enjoy all of the other cards talented stampers have posted.

Please visit my Online Store to order these products.  Let me know if you need any assistance.

Hopefully, I will see you next Tuesday.  Beverly

Come Together Designer Series Paper Card Sketch

Good Morning Stampers!!!!  Today I'm showing a card I made from a card sketch.  I make a lot of my cards this way.  It is a great way to get the creative juices.  This particular card came from the sketch and the piece of Come Together Designer Series Paper that was sitting on my desk.

For the sketch, the dimension are 4 1/4x5 1/2 for the card base.  The banner is cut 1 1/2x5 1/2 to be certain I had enough length to cut the banner edges.  The panel in the middle is 3 1/8x4 1/8 with the DSP cut at 3/4.

I have been trying to use nontraditional colors this year for Christmas cards for a step outside my box because this so is not me.  I do feel I had a little regular color with the Cherry Cobble and the Shaded Spruce.

Please visit my YouTube Channel at Beverly McGuire My Messy Room Stamper to see how I put the card together.

Thank you for stopping by.  Please visit my OnLine Store to order any of the products.
